I hope Tattle will now improve its moderation, and will be better at deleting rule-breaking comments
I like Tattle a lot; I've been a member for several years. But one thing I don't like is the amount of rule-breaking comments that get posted, and don't get removed. I know this as I've reported many of them, and nothing's been done.
Things like insults about children, or comments about people who are private citizens, not influencers (and who don't have more than 10k followers on their accounts), and just happen to associate with the influencer. I've got a friend who is a private citizen but is good friends with an influencer and features in their posts, and there's comments about them on Tattle which are insulting and defamatory. They didn't do anything to deserve this.
I'm glad Tattle has won the latest legal challenge and I want the site to continue, but I don't think it's right that they are now holding themselves to be some sort of moral bastion. They now need more moderators and a more robust system for rule-breaking comments to get removed.
EDIT - This is clearly an unpopular post, and my comments are getting downvoted into oblivion by people who don't seem to realise that this is constructive criticism. I thought this subreddit was somewhere you could discuss Tattle's issues - because you sure as hell can't do it on the site itself, as you'll get banned. I'm a fan of Tattle (and have even had a clash with MeanHope on here in defence of Tattle), but it needs to improve its moderation and be more consistent in following the rules that it set for its users.
