Would surgery be worth it
I (18F) have a minor s curve and kyphosis (my kyphosis is worse and more visible) and it is extremely painful. I was told that my curve can’t get worse since I’m done growing but the pain in my upper or lower back has only been increasing every year. Been doing PT consistently for years and have tried a chiropractor for a while. My kyphosis has gotten a lot better since I was younger but I honestly might just get one of those discrete posture braces to hide my hunchback when I’m in public because I still can’t keep my back straight even for short periods of time. I don’t want to get surgery but nothing the doctors have recommended have worked, stretching may provide momentary relief but not for when I have to be on my feet most of the day. Is there any solution or do I have to live the rest of my life like this?
