New bearded dragon egg process

Phoenix went the vet yesterday and I thought she had a respiratory problem but come to find out she has about 40 eggs in her. Idk how she’s a runt and small stature dragon. So I guess I drove 2 hours for her to mate with a male named Chad at the vet. I bought soil and cat pan I have the set up of the nature soil. It’s dry now. So how to get it wet without bugging her. She’s been in there since about 7pm Friday?
