160 days of OMAD increasing workouts

I have been on OMAD voor 160 days now, and I have increased my workouts to 4 days strength and 3 days cardio. As I mentioned before I had problems with dizziness, but I solved that with an extra meal after working out. The meal consists of a half avocado, 1 egg, smoked salmon, walnuts and salt, effectively I am not doing OMAD anymore as I will have my regular dinner. The weightloss has slowed down and the scale is no the way to keep track, what works for me is measuring and a picture once a week.

Day 154, 31 lbs lost 7 lbs left

It's day 154, and only 7 lbs left. As I was told many times I can see its slowing down but , I'm staying motivated. I tried mayn diets before and with all of them I lost my motivation one way or another. With OMAD there has been times of struggle but manageable. My health has improved so much, bloodpresure, heart, bloodsugar, and no more sleap apnea. I can go out and do things again without feeling drained. Ofcourse this is my story but I hope it can help you if you are struggling, in the end it will be worth it.

No more dizziness

In my previous posts I talked about being dizzy during OMAD, mostly due to my increased workouts.

Its a few days later and my dizziness is gone, I started to take steps and supplements and it seems they are working. Pre workout I take a large glass of water with 5g of salt together with creatine. During my workout I drink water with a bit of LoSalt and EAAs and after my workouts I eat and add magnesium.

This is what really worked for me and I hope this helps anyone who are experiencing the same, of course I am no doctor so please be careful.

Dizziness and OMAD

The last 2 days I have been feeling dizzy a few times per day, my blood pressure is good and my heart rate is also fine. I never had this before and I can't figure out why this is happening. It has been really hot here the last couple of days maybe that has something to do with it but I'm just guessing, does anyone else experience this or has experienced it? Not sure what to do here.

OMAD during summer

It feels so much easier to do OMAD during summer, compared to winter. During the winter I had many days that I was struggling with my fasting hours. Now its summer and it feels so much different, most days I even go past my eating time without a problem.

How does it go for you?

How the little victories add up

I stepped on a plane today and when I took my tray down there was room between my belly and the tray, the last time I took a flight I was embarrassed as the tray got stuck on my belly. Then I realized all the small things that are so much better now, not out of breath when I go up the stairs, no huffing and puffing putting on my shoes, the list goes on. These small victories add up and keep me motivated.

Hormones and OMAD.

I have been reading that hormones testosteron in my case can drop when fasting. I had a very low testosteron count when I started OMAD but I just got my check up results, and my testosteron has gone up quite a bit, also my bloodsugar and cholesterol have improved a lot. My blood pressure and heart rate are back to normal levels. After these results I am realizing that OMAD was the best thing I have ever done for myself.

I have about 10 lbs to go to get reach my goal but, the bellyfat is fighting me every step of the way. I lift 4 times a week and walk a lot. The bellyfat is reducing but I think at this rate my belly will still be there when I reach my goal. Any tip or ideas how to solve this?

I find tracking rather helpful, what metrics do you track?

During my first period before my break I hardly tracked anything besides my weight. This time around I started tracking my calories, water intake and weight trend as well, I found it helpful and motivating.

Curious what other people here actually track daily and what made the biggest difference for you?

When I started working out my wieghtloss slowed down, I monitored my food intake more but did not pay much attention to my water intake. For the last weeks I focussed more on water intake and to my suprise I started dropping a bit faster.

Not sure if it’s coincidence or not, but the difference is noticeable.

Curious if others experienced this? Or am I overestimating the impact?
