What’s one small win you had this week in running?
Even the smallest progress counts.
Even the smallest progress counts.
A moment that stuck with you.
And was it worth it?
I keep going back and forth on what works better, shorter breaks throughout the year or a more traditional long summer break.
What’s your approach, and why does it work for your family?
Mentally or physically, what helps you reset?
Cool mornings, rain, heat, what suits you?
Some things seemed really important at the beginning, but over time the way I looked at them changed a lot.
What gets you moving on tough days?
Could be loud, repetitive, or just impossible to ignore.
Tiny birds are easy to miss until you really start paying attention.
Some IDs somehow make you even more confused.
Maybe it seemed too common or not that interesting… until you started paying closer attention.
What changed your mind?
Apps can be super helpful, especially for calls and quick IDs, but some people prefer figuring it out themselves before checking.
What’s your approach?
Sometimes the more you notice birds, the more certain ones start growing on you.
I’ve noticed when kids pretend to be the teacher, it’s kind of revealing, how they explain things, what they focus on, even the phrases they repeat.
Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s surprisingly insightful.
Does anyone else see this? What does your child’s version of “school” look like?
New week, fresh miles.
How did last week go? consistent, off-track, somewhere in between?
What’s on the plan for this week?
Check in and share where you’re at with your running right now.
Sometimes one bird keeps showing up and somehow still remains a mystery. Which one was it for you?
Could be a super common bird or one you rarely hear people talk about. Which bird deserves more attention?
