Do you use apps while birding, or try to ID everything on your own first?

Apps can be super helpful, especially for calls and quick IDs, but some people prefer figuring it out themselves before checking.

When your kids play “school,” what do you notice?

I’ve noticed when kids pretend to be the teacher, it’s kind of revealing, how they explain things, what they focus on, even the phrases they repeat.

Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s surprisingly insightful.

Does anyone else see this? What does your child’s version of “school” look like?
