Fabric at Michael’s

Has anyone used any fabrics at Michael’s for garments and liked it? I’ve got a gift card I need to use, but am struggling to find anything good both in person and online.
I’m looking for something lightweight and flowy, natural fibres if possible, but at this point I’ll take anything.
I know selection there is low, but I was hoping someone might have found something good.

I’m at a loss on how to help my lawn (Northern Utah)

We had our lawn put in 2 years ago and each year it’s gotten worse. Last year I thought grubs were the culprit and the dying seemed to slow down after adding a treatment, but this year it’s started happening again. We did another bug treatment with BugBGon in mid April which hasn’t helped. We’ve hired a lawn company to help us because we’re so lost now. I’ve done so much research on lawns and it’s just not doing what I expected it to do lol. The lawn company has said they’re very sure it’s not grubs, and it just seems like the ground is too dry, we need to water more. BUT I did a tuna can test today and one run of the sprinklers for 30 minutes gives about an inch of water. We run the sprinklers 2x a week for 40 minutes (I just upped it to 3 times a week per the lawn companies recommendation but it feels excessive, especially with the current drought). I don’t see any evidence of fungal issues, and all of our neighbours lawns seem to be doing ok so I don’t know where we’re going wrong? I know rehabbing it will take a while and it won’t look nice right away, but at this point I just want to stop it from dying more so we can get it stable.

Additional info:
-The front half of the lawn doesn’t get any shade whatsoever. The back half gets shade for about half of the day. Our backyard lawn is similar in that only half gets any shade but it’s not struggling nearly as bad.
-We’ve recently signed up to get some additional water retention treatments from the lawn company
-We water at 3:30am on Wednesday and Saturday
-the super dead area at the very front is what died and never came back last year, the yellow grass is what has died this year
-it’s Kentucky blue grass

How close would you plant a fruit tree to your house?

I have a small gravelled area about 12’ by 13’ that sits at the corner of my house. It’s the only practical place I’d be able to plant a tree in my yard. I’m planning to follow the grow a little fruit tree method, which I know promotes deep roots so would this be an issue or a risk to my house if I were to put a tree in the middle of this little area?
