Flemish Dunes

hello all, thanks for having me! this is my first time posting here.

I have been a fan of Olympus Zuiko Four Thirds system since 2016 when I had my first E-300 with the funny design been given to me by a family member, since then I learned photography trough technical school mostly on a E-510. sold everything (except the E300) in 2017-18 for upgrading to full frame in 2018 going to academy.

I bought a E-3 in 2023 but only last year would I start using it seriously.

A project I have been working on in the past year is Desert Winters In Flemish Dunes. especially during winters, the Flemish dunes can be so so so so beautiful. these are some of the photos from this project. these are made in the dunes of The Panne during the early winter at the end of December last year.

what do you all think of it. I use an Olympus E-3 and have a variety of lenses from the 12-60mm, 40-150mm, 35mm and 50mm. I still want the 70-300mm as well.

I absolutely have loved the small sensors since the start, the grain that you can get with it is so beautiful. I also used to have an Olympus E-M10MarkII between 2019 and 2023. same story with those, the grain you can get from the small sensors are, again, insanely beautiful. one of the reasons I still use the zuiko system. I have full frame cameras as well and use those for different reasons and advantages.

wanted to share some of these photographs to share with you and also ask for constructive feedback. I miss chatting with other photographers about photography and stuff regarding the skill of photography. photography is my biggest passion in this life. I absolutely love it, and take my cam everywhere as much as possible.

Leo season, birthday season

but I am not feeling it.

i have not felt really festive during my birthday at the 28th of July. turned 29 this year.
i am very melancholy about a lot of stuff in my life. passing of my dad at the start of my 20's, my grandma two years ago, my student years, getting clean of addictions and homelessness, I had a pretty rough 20's trying to figure out life and still doing so. hurting quite a few people in my life whom I dearly loved looking back.

this season feels quite heavy to me and I was wondering if there were others going trough stuff as well

sorry if this is not the right place for my sharing

happy birthday everybody who is celebrating during Leo season 🦁

genuine question

hello everyone, I am a restarting photographer with quite some experience in editing.

What exactly is Capture One? is it another editing program? and is it better than PS/ LR?

hope this is okay to post. Thanks
