300 hours dry fast attempt

I have started a dry fast and instead of days, taking it hourly. Planning to reach 300 hours dry fasted followed by 150 hours of water fast (first 75 hours warm water fast, next 75 hours normal water fast) which is later followed by 75 hours of one meal in 1 hour window every 23 hours which is then followed by 35-40 hours of 2 meals in 6 hours window every 20 hours and then resuming to normal food intake with slight calories deficit.

Question to experienced fasters- what can I hope for the weight loss trend to be like? how does this plan sound so I don't regain all the weight I lose? I did around 100+ hours fast last week but I regained almost 2.5-3kg out of 4.5 kg lost, in this week. I'd like to understand more about refeeding, particularly any alterations in the protocol I have thought of.

Please have supportive and constructive criticism in the comments.

Thanks

Dry fast round 2

Hello everyone 🤗

DAILY UPDATES

26/F, height 162 cm, SW: 87.7 kg, GW: 55 kg

I finished a 132 hours dry fast in which I lost 4.1 kg and around 2 inches overall. I broke the fast with water and after 12 hours of that, had a meal consisting of complex carbs, proteins and fats.

I have started a soft dry fast again, from 31st July 2026, 10.30 am! Primary aim stays the same- get rid of aches and pains in random joint, reduce back stiffness, control insulin resistance and lose weight.

I will update my weight everyday, in the comments of this post and once I am breaking the dry fast, I will make a new post explaining my experience.

Hoping for your well wishes so that my fast is completed with success.

If anybody wishes to join the fast, they can do so on this link-

132 hours dry fast ✅

Broke the dry fast at 132 hours. Had some water rn. Will hydrate well and will have one meal before restarting the dry fast again!

CW: 85.9 kg as of 31st July 2026, 12 am, 132 hours into the fast.

Weight loss so far 4.1 kg. Inch loss so far 2 inches overall.

Might regain 1-1.5 kg of it I suppose. Which will be shed off in a day again.

Had literally no issues other than thirst and low energy by the end of the day. I slept like a baby the whole time and I felt calmer.

Thank you all for the support. Check out the new post (will be posted in 10-11 hours) for the new 11 day dry fast update! Love yaa guys..

PS- Firstly Ik I am not following a proper refeed protocol, but eating that 1 meal is necessary for personal religious reasons. And before anyone asks why didn't I take it into account, folks, it just popped up.

Secondly, I won't be having a whole meal, just some liquid gravy type and consume as little (bare minimum) as possible.

100 hours dry fasting done!

Just wanted to give an update that I crossed my 96 hours threshold of maximum dry fast I have done, and finally crossed the 100 hours mark and I am still going!!!

I have lost almost 4 kgs so far and this has been by far the easiest fast I have ever done!

I am thirsty asf rn, and whenever I hear or touch water, I just wanna chug 🤣🤣

But other than that, I am so happy 🤟🏻

Sequence of fasting

For the next 21 days, I want to fast.

There are two plans-

  1. 12 days dry fast followed by 9 days water fast.

  2. 8 days dry fast- 3 days water fast- 6 days dry fast- 4 days water fast

Which is the ideal way to do?

My primary aim is to lose weight, gain health, treat my inflammation and insulin resistance.

Anyone who has done prolonged fasting, kindly guide.

Starting dry fast attempt 2. If anyone has any questions, do ask!

Hello everyone. Whoever has read my previous post knows that I couldn't go over 64 hours of dry fasting the last time due to a rapid sugar fall. And to treat it, I had to eat carbs, which got me out of ketosis very quickly. I am back to my original weight of 90 kgs and no matter how much the number 9 in tens place hurts my soul, I am going to give dry fasting another shot.

Right now I am 12 hours fasted after a protein rich meal. Hoping to go on to dry fasting for 11 days i.e. till 20th July 2026, followed by 5 days of water fasting and then slowly normalising into the usual diet in OMAD. Even if I gain 3-5 kgs of whatever I lose, that's fine, I can reduce it by fasting for 2 days a week later on.

So this is the schedule I have mentally planned for myself for the month of July!

Any estimations you guys want to make as to how much weight I will lose in the next 11 days? 😃

If anyone wants to join in, let me know as well! Would love to have someone go through this with .... 💕

Also, I might not be able to upload the progress daily, but if anyone asks me any questions, I am up for answering almost always immediately 😊

Hi people, 26 F here, starting a hybrid fast in a couple hours for the next 280 hours!

Sunrise to sunset- warm water

Sunset to sunrise- dry fast

FastingPals code- F2FE29F4

Join in with me so that we can motivate each other and complete the fast .

Intention of the hybrid fast- the last time I did the fast, I tried a dry one and I failed because I craved for water so much! So I am keeping the rules lenient this time.

Take care people 💓
