What is it living like in this part of Italy?
Does this island have a similar culture compared to the north? Is it more city-oriented or nature oriented? Is it crowded with tourists like near Rome and Venice?

This story is about a young person reflecting on a past best friend in the depths of midnight, and about memory bleeding into the present. I’d like some feedback with the writing style and craft, like the overall flow of the piece as a whole.
