Which setting is safer to enable on your account?

Yesterday was the second time I managed to recover my account. Even though I had a password, two-step verification (2SV), and a security question, the hacker managed to gain access again and change my email ID.

Now I’d like to know how I can better secure my account to prevent that person from ever getting in again. Also, I have a question: when I enable the passkey, the password and two-step verification are disabled; and, similarly, when I enable the password, the passkey feature is disabled.

I’d like to know which option is the most secure and what settings you recommend to fully protect my account.

I lost my account, but I messed up when I tried to recover it

After a month of trying to contact support and looking for advice on Reddit, I managed to recover my account on my own. Thinking I’d lost the account, I deleted the user from my console. Two days later, I contacted support and they restored my account, but I lost all my progress in my games. Now I don’t know how to feel.

I've lost count, haven't I?

Because I was careless, my PSN account was hacked—they changed my login ID—and customer support just told me that, for security reasons, I can no longer make any changes to my account. Does that mean I’ve definitely lost my account?
