I have a bachelor’s degree overseas but it’s not accounting degree luckily I landed a job as an AR 10 years ago and work my way up to AP, staff accountant and now Accountant. Unfortunately I’m only making $55,000 now (I live in midwest) and want to get CPA license so I can make near six figures. I’m pregnant now and my mom will help me with my baby after giving birth. I’ll be taking 3 months maternity leave. Is that a good time to start? Anyone here with similar experience?
