Is it common to get probation for a first time DUI? Nothings giving a clear answer and need some help

Does anybody know if it’s common to get a couple years on probation for a first time DUI?

Edit: should mention I’m from California. First time DUI. No record not even a speeding ticket. 0.10 BAC
