Does this make Brutal difficulty easier?

Do these guys attack the ai players?

Because it seems to me that they would rather run through multiple ai territories to get to me instead of attacking an ai player right next to them.

Unless all the ai take a deal with them to avoid war or something...

Remember when Perorn and her centaurs were extorting that drake city.

Does anyone here have an idea of tactics the drake city could have used to chase off the centaurs?
