Curious, is disabling FSO still worth it on windows 11 for valorant? I’m chasing the lowest possible latency.

Recently, after changing my router that was provided by my ISP spectrum to a NEW router that was also provided by spectrum, I noticed my ping increased. (From 20 to now 36 with the newer router.) all across throughout all the games I play, but mainly valorant.

Normally, I’m routed to Illinois servers, now I’m being routed to N Virginia. For context, I’m from New York.

Now get this, when I swapped back to the OLDER router, everything went back to normal and my ping was once again 20, and back to Illinois servers.

What’s the cause behind this?

Older router: SAC2V2S

Newer router: SAX1V1S
