Couple of confirmations from recent interview.

Couple of confirmations from recent interview.

Some notes I took while watching the video. (Not in order at all, just a fair warning I was kind of jotting them down while watching. Lol.)

-Dungeons aren't meant to be spammed. (Still are able to.)

-PvP being looked at.

-New system to make gold more plentiful for raiders, (Refuses to call them dailies, but an entire new system where players need to play the game.)

-Molten Core confirmed, but not the soon.

-Resistance gear not required for first few raids. (High chance of them being required down the line.)

- Game pad is good (Won't say if they plan to bring wow to console)

- Reaffirms WoW Forever is Classic Roots. (And everything they've learned from classic to make Forever.)

- Calls WoW Forever. "This is the classic+ Players have been asking for, for years."

- The entire pitch towards leadership is about classic and classic+ as a concept.

- SoD was the concept project into a "Classic+ world." Metrics were successful to push forward with Classic.

-Season of Discovery was such a success, that WoW Forever had started production during Season of Discovery.

-Design choices go through a classic list for when they're created.

- Another "Hold to line" comment dropped in the video.

- Original developers from WoW 2004 are giving feedback to the current team. (Including members that no longer work at Blizzard being brought in to give advice.)

- "There are substantial modern WoW aspects that we do not want in WoW Forever." -Quote in vdieo.

- Horizontal progression will not ONLY be raid. (Professions, exploration, legacy system, creating alts. New "Challenges" to complete.

- There will be a "Little" power progression and vertical progression. But it will be tiny. (Example given. There will be chase uniques/epics from dungeons and raids from release that will continue to be a BiS for certain classes for a LONG, LONG, time.)

-"We want to adhere to the authentic Vanilla feel, of an item from BWL moving with you for a long long time. to encourage people to come back to do that content."

- Devs do not want any mods that play the game for you.

-New art going forward will be in classic theme, such as revisiting things that don't fit like Skyborne.

-Ocean servers "Exist" and those players will have oceanic servers, however if they group with those in America or Europe, they will be playing into the American and Europe servers. (Connected servers depend on whoever the party leader is.)

-PvP seasonal rewards are rewards you can get (In that seasonal time frame.)

-WoW Forever is what the team will be focusing on completely for the long term. (However, there is a chance for new Season of Mastery or Season of Discovery style Seasonal servers in the future.)

- "For the economy, we've learned from Season of Discovery on how to control the economy, by controlling spawn rates and other ways like prices on vendors. (This includes the new vendor that sells black lotus in Forever, capping the worth of that item.)

These are my notes, they are not in order of the video. I just thought it would be a nice little snap shot of key points I found interesting in the video.

The video itself has moments with weird audio in it as well.
