Not only did I see multiple men (and a woman) piss in the crowd this past weekend but I was right next to a couple who were sitting deep in the crowd refusing to stand up as the crowd filled in around them while waiting for Turnstile’s set.

When suddenly a drunk older man came rushing out the front of the crowd while throwing up into the collar of his shirt leaving a snail trail of vomit out the bottom of his shirt that dripped all over that couples laps & knees.

Also the mud smells like shit reeeeally bad! lol

I normally fly in from out of state twice a year for this fest but I been wondering if there was recently a change in music curation. CRSSD used to book so many legends, insane B2B’s and artists I was genuinely surprised to see in North America.

Now most lineups either feel recycled, copy/pasted from other dance fests in the US or full of unqualified TikTok DJ’s that rely on a 30 sec viral clip to carry their entire set.

There are still lots of people that bring great vibes and dance their asses off throughout the weekend, but it’s obvious that there have also been an increase of people who aren’t there for the music & are solely seeking content for their socials. The amount of people who won’t stfu and just show up to buy a bomber jacket now is insane!

The Weekend 2 exclusives suck and idk how ACL thought Kings of Leon would be a comparable act to Skrillex (Who hasn’t played ACL or Austin since 2014)

I’d be surprised if ACL doesn’t scramble to add another big Weekend 2 exclusive act to help push tickets because GA is still at Tier 2 and GA+ is at Tier 1 but both options are completely sold out for Weekend 1.
