Found my 2009 ACL Fest booklet
This thing is thick! Has a write up of every act performing (comment if you want to read about anyone specifically)

Is there anyway I can return and get refunded for a wristband? I have the layaway plan and found out I can’t go now so I wanted to just get refunded 😭
So this is going to be my first ACL fest ever after the 3 years that I've lived in Austin. I'm really excited because I haven't been to a music fest since Bonaroo in 2018. For anyone who has attended ACL before, when do they release the schedule with the times. I imagine the closer it gets to September they'll start releasing the times when they start shipping the wristbands. BTW I'm going Wk1. I'm curious because I usually work Fridays and Saturdays and I'm not sure if i should request those days off or leave early so I can pick and choose which artists I'd like to see. Thanks!
I’m f19, going with a group of currently about 7 people all 19-23. Currently it’s me and one more girl and the rest are guys. I’m comfortable with all the guys who are going, but I would prefer if we had some more female company around too. We like making candy, trading clips, making bead art and really anything that has to do with creativity. We’re going all 3 days of the festival and getting an Airbnb near there. We’re splitting the price between everyone, currently this is what we’ve got.
Prices with 8 people confirmed
Airbnb:
$40 within the next 2 weeks
$123 by Sep 15th
Rental car:
$106
Plane tickets, festival tickets and food and extra money is for you to decide.
If you’re female, under 25, not an absolute weirdo and looking for a group dm me please🤍
Edit: it’s weekend 1
Playing: Saturday (Weekend 1&2)
Genre(s): Industrial Techno, Breakcore, Experimental Electronic
Vibe Check: Utterly chaotic, high velocity. Performing under the stylized moniker ¥ØUUK€ ¥UK1MATU, you will likely see this Japanese man without his shirt delivering a master class of genre bending. It is an intense, unpredictably brilliant rave experience.
For Fans Of: Aphex Twin, Brutalismus 3000, Hudson Mohawke, Arca
Hot Songs: "Midnight is Comin'" (Mix Album) "Shadow Work" (Live Transition Edit) "Lights Out" (Festival Bootleg Mix)
From: Osaka / Tokyo, Japan
Fun Facts: -Originally worked in construction and only turned to DJing full-time after surviving a malignant brain tumor and undergoing two major surgeries in 2016. -He is an absolute global phenomenon on the internet with his legendary Tokyo Boiler Room set.
Why See Them at ACL? If you want to experience the absolute cutting edge of electronic music, this is your set. He doesn't just play tracks, he creates a beautifully deranged live mix.
ACL History: 1st appearance
Set Time/Stage Speculation: let's be honest, it's going to be Tito's tent
Sample of live set: none less than the boiler room set:
Are they going to do night shows in between the weekends, like past years? Surprised they haven't been announced yet.
This is my first time going to ACL and I’m going solo! I’ve briefly visited Austin (like 3 days at most) and have always been with other people. With that being said, what are some good safety tips for a girl going solo? Should I just leave my car at my Airbnb and uber? I’m already going to put an attachable AirTag on all my outfits (so my friends back in LBK can keep track lol). How safe is walking solo around/ out of Zilker after the late night sets?
If there are any girls 20 - 24 also traveling solo I would LOVE to connect (especially if you’re another West Texas girly)!
I’m assuming this question gets asked a lot in the sub, but was wondering if anything has changed for ACL 2026
me and my friend are attending both from far outside of austin. i have never been to a festival or to texas at all. how do i go about finding sleeping accommodations or transportation if neither of us will be driving? i need as much detailed assistance as possible. it’s getting closer and i’m trying my best to prepare myself as much as possible. i’ve read quite a bit of other threads about daily essentials and what to wear/bring. mostly trying to figure out our best options for sleep/travel with little to no information about the city and as cost effective as possible. we are flexible but not wanting to spend an arm and a leg and aware we need to book sooner than later!
Good afternoon! I am traveling solo to go to ACL and I looking for a group to join! I am 27 y/o male, very active and energetic!
I love music and partying 🍾
attending my first acl and wanna see who else is struggling between choosing from skrillex or charlixcx. i’ve seen charli twice already and im also seeing her at lollapalooza this year so i know that i should go see skrillex but i love charli so much i feel so indecisive. are we sure they’ll be playing at the same time ? is it worth it to try and go to half of both sets?
They sounded great as usual...

Pro-tip: The area in front of the soundboard is usually the sweet spot for sound if you can get a decent sight line.
Like the tital says I'm coming to ACL solo from canada. None of my friends love music the way I do and so I've decided to venture off alone. That said, I'm an extrovert and would love to make some friends. Any advice on how to make the most of the experience?
