Does anyone know how likely it is to get off the waitlist for weekend 2? I just signed up. Or any other options I might have? Doing the 3 day. I was waiting for paycheck :(
It's been a while since I've been to ACL and I'm sure a lot has changed. I didn't see any parking passes on the website, did I just miss it? Am I able to bring portable phone chargers? Camel Pack? Sunscreen? Deodorant or wipes? Hydration packs? Backpack? Blankets? Is it Cashless? Is it better to wander around or have planned set to see. I'm going weekend 1 Friday. The one set we are excited to see is Skrillex. We plan on going on a trip while we watch. We don't plan on being in the crowd much, just want to vibe and hang out. Thanks for the help!
Hello everyone! This is my first time going to Austin City Limits and Texas period, I have friends who live in Boerne which I know is pretty far from Austin after a quick search up, I was wondering what time do the days usually end in the hypothetical situation I get a rental car and drive to their place at the end of the night. I’m also more in the thought of grabbing a hotel close by so I wouldn’t have to drive nearly two hours after a day/night of dancing haha. I’m going alone weekend one so I was trying to plan things out
I'm just surprised that the one days tickets are still available, especially Friday weekend one. The weekend one 3 days tickets sold out very fast, so I would expect single day tickets would go faster lol. Also T-Mobile just dropped additional 3 days tickets AFTER it is already sold out. I don't think that ever happened before

I’m actually pretty excited about possibly seeing Twenty One Pilots at ACL. I have not listened to them since 2016 though, and I am not very familiar with their music past the Blurryface album. Could anybody predict/recommend me some songs to check out, ones that they might include on their setlist?
As much as I’d love to see some songs from Vessel, I don’t know how likely it is that they’ll play anything that old lol.
I want to see the 3 of them, however considering all of them are playing on Friday, it seems obvious that 2 of them will be crashing (at least?). According to previous ACL previous logic, which of them do you think will overlap? Any remote chance that none of them?

who are you most excited to see at acl?? i definitely bought tickets for the headliners, but which of the smaller artists do you also recommend?
I find it incredibly helpful to force myself to listen to the music from the artists scheduled for festivals I attend. I slowly curate my own version of the playlists and then later when the stage schedule comes out, I have a good idea of where I want to plant my feet.
I have a vibe coded some Python scripts that created ACL Festival playlists for Youtube Music. It takes the popular songs from each group. Defining "popular" is complex; but it's loosely based on number of plays until the counts drop dramatically in percentage. So, some artists have 15 songs, some have 5, etc.

The above playlists are base lines. They will likely contain music that doesn't meet your standards. I suggest you "clone" the playlist, which you can do easiest by using a desktop browser. Open the playlist, select the box on the first song, and slowly scroll all the way to the bottom of the playlist as it slowly loads a few at a time and hold down SHIFT while you click the same box to place a check box on it. It should then select ALL of the songs on that playlist. Then simply hit the icon inviting you to add those selected songs to a playlist. Then create a new playlist of your own and go to town curating it to your heart's content.

A group of 3 (maybe 4) of us are going to weekend 2 and are looking to stay in a hotel as we’re all from out of state. We’re debating whether to stay close enough to Downtown to walk to the shuttles or if it’s more cost effective to stay outside of the area for a cheaper hotel and uber to and from the shuttles every day. Anyone have any insight? We’re not familiar enough with the area to rely on public transportation tbh.

Okay so since I can’t go to the festival Friday and I’m going to miss skrillex (literally the worst thing ever my heart is broken,) who should I see Saturday/Sunday if I do decide to still go? I want to keep the EDM/ electronic-esque vibe going. I know I already want to see levity, snow strippers and underscores but who am I missing?
