Do you think they are building up to a twist reveal that the Kenrith Twins' mother is a pre-existing character, a witch from an earlier set in Magic's history? Like how it turns out >!Oko is Kellan's dad and Maralen's brother!< ? Or are they keeping her unnamed for when they have a cool character idea for her?
There was a famous competitive history moment where someone boarded out their strongest card knowing their opponent would try to remove it with a Crossout Designator type effect.
Does anyone know what I'm thinking of?
I refuse to play Snow Lands on principle for this and I pretend they don't exist. The asymmetry bugs me. Why aren't there Rain lands?
edit: To explain further, Snow suggests a whole space of other land modifiers. Foliage-covered lands, Lava-covered lands, whatever. I don't actually care what the category would be. Snow is just clearly one of a larger category and the absence of its corresponding members stand out to me.
In previews and promotions for RF, Mark Rosewater keeps mentioning that they had to devise a new manufacturing method to guarantee that both versions of a given character would appear in one pack.
Why is this such a difficult problem? Rarity distribution seems like a way more complex layout issue and they solved that.
What do you think this innovative new method is?
Update: My solution has been to get over it. I actually like the way the white border frames the card now. It's clean and pretty.

I bought some art sleeves and I love the back (1), but they are white on the inside (2). It's really icky to me. It breaks the Dimir aesthetic (3). I tried Dragon Shield inner sleeves but there is still some white peeking out at the edges (4).
I think I'm just gonna insert some black construction paper, but maybe there's a more elegant solution. Are you fussy about this like I am? Have you found an answer?
