Love trying for a formable and I get some puppet I didn't want

Newfoundland revolted from Canada, but I need to own them to integrate the rest. The only way I can see that I could possibly ever get this formable now is if they go down their breaking free tree, but that seems completely outside of my control. Do you all know of any other ways I could fix this? Playing on ironman btw, I know I could fix it if I wasn't but my memory is shit enough that I'm reliant on autosave for all of my playthroughs :(

This scene makes the entire chapter worth it

I don't know if yall agree, but this scene is easily the pinnacle of this new chapter for me. Like most people, my opinion of the chapter overall is fairly lukewarm, but this part makes it easily worth it. Not only is it only of the only major lore drops in the whole chapter, that being that Ralsei is aware (at least partially) of Kris's schemes but doesn't intervene due to his trust in them, but also it's genuinely beautiful to see that Ralsei cares this much for Kris. Having been a part of the fandom back when people though Ralsei didn't actually care about Kris and was only catering to the soul's interests, it's unbelievably gratifying to have that idea be truly crushed, and so powerfully, too.

Also, Ralsei is my favorite character anyway, and this chapter didn't do a particularly good job of reminding me of why... so this scene was an absolute breath of fresh air. This is exactly what we (yes YOU and ME) love Ralsei for.

Why the fuck is Joe Biden my Napoleonic Naval Scientist?

Like I get that he's old, but damn I didn't think he was this old... much less still looking the exact same 85 years later. Plus, why is he French?
