Hemorrhage okay stories

Any okay stories of hemorrhaging and healing and it didn’t happen again?

I had a Lingual tonsillectomy on Sept 22(Day 0). I am about 9 days postop but was 8 yesterday. I unfortunately hemorrhaged last night and they ended up going ahead and taking me back to cauterize a bleeder real quick. I’ve been stable and felt way better than Day 0 of course. Only right ear throat pain when it’s about time for pain meds. Which is the same place I’ve had pain the last couple days. They said I will have to take it easy it set me back about two days. So I’m just taking it easy and praying to never go through that again! But when looking at people stories so many people said it happened many times in their recovery and it’s freaking me out. Has this only happened the once and you didn’t have to worry about it after? I have a trip at the end of the month and I’m like stressing on this happening again. I see my ENT Doc next Oct 12 so I plan to take it careful as much as possible and to have him look at it and give me the all clear. But I think I’m stressing big! I’ve followed all guidelines and rules.

Lingual Tonsillectomy

I have decided to get my lingual tonsillectomy. My ENT said they’re the biggest he’s ever scene. I have all this drainage and stuff but when looking into how the recovery was I can’t find anything about people having it done. It’s not as common as the palatine tonsillectomy but I was wondering can anyone tell me their experience. I just want to mentally prepare I guess.
