“Whack-a-mole” pain while training

For the past few months of training, I always seem to have some lingering pain somewhere. Every time I take a couple days off, it pops up somewhere else. For a while it was the left side of my left calf, then the left side of my left knee, then my hip flexors, then the left side of my right knee, now it’s the area above my left knee. This particular flare up is a bit worse and I notice it when walking or getting up, but I’d say it’s still only a 2/10 in terms of pain and I could probably do a long run and wouldn’t notice it after a few km’s.

I had assumed that I have some sort of underlying issue with my stride or something and that I need to take more time off, but resting doesn’t really seem to help. Is this stuff just a fact of training and I shouldn’t worry about it too much?

Diarrhea earlier in the day — can I still go for a run?

I have a run scheduled today and I would really rather not skip it. The diarrhea came in kind of suddenly but I feel ok now. Any thoughts? I searched for similar posts but most of them were about diarrhea after running lol
