Hey everyone, I’m having a lot of trouble getting consistent bed adhesion with ABS and could use some advice.

I preheat my chamber to around 50°C using a hair dryer because I’m trying to avoid the chamber being too cold. I also clean the build plate thoroughly with dish soap and isopropyl alcohol before printing.

The problem is that sometimes the print sticks perfectly, but other times the ABS starts lifting off the plate mid-print and eventually turns into a mess.

What would you recommend for getting better and more consistent ABS bed adhesion? Are there specific bed temperatures, adhesives, build plate surfaces, or other settings that have worked well for you?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
