How can I improve my tank for pea puffers? Any tips for beginner care?

Just set up and began cycling a 20g long. Squeezed my sponge filter from my 10g and did a pinch of fish flakes to keep the bacteria fed.

The tank is planted with Egeria Najas, Crypts, Water Lettuce, Salvinia & Hygrophila. The hardscape are lava rocks. Going to try and add some spider wood as well. I did a fluval stratum slope and capped it with sand. Just looking for suggestions on anything I

First time aquarium owner. Help with mystery snail.

I’ve uploaded various photos of my mystery snail. I currently am running a 10gallon with 10 neocaridinia, 2 nerite, a mystery, and ramshorn and pond snails who hitchhiked. The tank has be running since June 8th and the mystery and nerite snails went in about 3 weeks after that once the cycle was complete.

I’ve been feeding the tank blanched zucchini 1x a week, algae wafers and shrimp pellets 2-3x a week, small chunks of cuttlebone, and have been supplementing Bacter AE 2x a week as well. I recently got GlasGarten Shrimp lollies and mineral junkie bites and have been doing the shrimp lollie 1x a week and the calcium bites passively through the week as they’re eaten.

I notice that my mystery’s shell is a bit dark and has these cracks along it that were there when I got him. I just wondering if there’s anything else’s I should be supplementing to their diet? The ramshorns and pond snails shells all look healthy and my parameters are all stable and within acceptable ranges. But I want to ensure I’m giving the best care I can so just looking for some opinions on anything I can do better if so from people experienced with Mystery Snails! I also have some photos I can post of when I just got him a month ago if it helps! Thank you!

Test virtually on Monday.

Already an anxious test taker and need to pass this first try. All my STC scores are between 65-75, but when I took the FINRA practice exam last Saturday I got a 75. I feel like I need to close the gap this weekend but I’m not sure what to focus on to help me succeed. Been hammering options problems & order questions, I think some of the things tripping me up are those, REITs, tax pass throughs and treatments of different things, customer accounts, and some economic questions. Any advice to help me pass? I still need the 66 & 7 after this and am looking to be fully licensed by the end of August so I am on a strict constraint of passing these first try.

Setting up a 10gal. Need some substrate help.

Purchased Fluval Stratum for a 10gal I plan to start for Neocaridinia, otos, and likely clown kilifish. Initially I read this was great for plants / shrimp, but am reading now how it affects the dKH. Having trouble figuring out what’s best or not, can someone please let me know if this substrate will work for my plans? I am planting Bacopa, Anubias, Java Moss, Dwarf Hair Grass, Frogbit & Cryptocoryne.
