My family organizing wall is becoming chaos 😅 Help?

My family organizing wall is becoming chaos 😅 Help?

Hey everyone 👋

We’re trying to create a functional but still aesthetically pleasing family organizing wall in our hallway/kitchen area, and I’d love some ideas or inspiration from people who’ve solved this well.

Right now we need space for:

  • invitations to birthday parties & events
  • two kids’ school schedules
  • library notices and random papers
  • postcards and small memories
  • kids’ drawings/art
  • a family calendar
  • maybe a small section for keys/mail/reminders

At the moment it’s starting to look cluttered really quickly 😅
I want it to stay practical for everyday family life, but also calm and visually nice — more “intentional family hub” and less “chaotic paper explosion”.

I attached a photo of the current setup.
What would you change?

Things I’m wondering:

  • Should everything be framed/contained somehow?
  • Best way to display kids’ art without visual chaos?
  • How do you organize papers that constantly change?
  • Any examples of family command centers that actually stay tidy and really work?

I especially love:

  • Scandinavian / minimalist style
  • systems that are easy enough for kids to use too

Would really appreciate photos, product recommendations, layout ideas, or any organizing tricks that worked for your family 🙏
