Overall this kdrama is pretty decent: cast is great (Kim Won Hae, Go Youn Jung and Kim Seon Ho just never disappoints), cinematography and locations are beautiful, music is nice, sometimes it's sweet and lovely, but core translation thing, ML past love (especially with brother's vanishing in 2nd half) and filming show are just okay, 7/10, nothing really special. When ML and FL were in ordinary state we had too much misunderstanding and soapy little stupidity that were hurting relationship progression and you just get more frustration after frustration with how they can't proper say normal things while filming that generic love-travel show.

On other hand, whole split personality, tonal shifts to gothic horror romance and triangle not with SML or SFL, but with dissociative identity - it is where this show was amazing for me. I know it's not for everyone, it's controversial theme, many viewers had a feeling that there's two different kdramas, but i adore this. It's so funny, unpredictable, chemistry was outstanding. Don't get me wrong: Go Youn Jung is so lovable and cute even as ordinary FL persona, but her other self is so much more interesting. Do Ra Mi is just hell of a ride, could be one of my fav character if it was only her as equal FL. I wish if this story would be only about split personality trauma and messy triangle with herself with less soapy misunderstandings on filming sets and more fun double dating and funny little insanity. This show had way more potential, but stuck with too much of a classic melodrama tropes.

P.S. And my last weird request to kdrama world or random screenwriters: can we just have for once a lovestory where ghost/split personality/different soul/after reincarnation etc would be endgame of romance? It's just always ignores active chemistry between "another" person and at the end they kinda didn't matter. I know it's not healthy from psychological standpoint, you can argue that it's not a main person, ML or FL should be healed of course. But i just really want something unexpected, just give me single kdrama that subvert all my expectations when you use different personality. And isn't it also harsh when second "living" half stripped from their agency and feelings because main character is always more important? Maybe it's not even about this show at this point, lol, and i'm just preaching to the clouds and it's my longtime trauma from Mr. Queen.
