I need help starting an Italian language club at Shoreline Community College

Hello! I'm transferring to SCC in the Fall so I can finish my Post Bacc. I speak fluent Italian and now that I'm moving, I won't know any Italian speakers in town so I'm looking to build a community for that at the college. I'm looking for at least 4 other students with any amount of Italian language background to get the club started.

I don't have any concrete plans yet but I'm imagining average meetings can just be conversation in Italian (using as little English as possible) then we maybe do an event or two per quarter to collaborate with other student organizations.

I'm seeking advice on my research/clinical experience timeline

Hello! I have a bachelor of psychology, and right now I'm in a pre med post bacc program because I'm hoping to go to med school then work as a psychiatrist. I'm definitely more interested in clinical work than research at the moment, but I know it's important to get a range of experience before applying. Here's what I've done so far and what I'm hoping to do in the future. I'd love some advice on this plan <3

Current clinical experience:

6 months of volunteering at a rec center for adults with developmental disabilities.

1 year of working as a home care aide.

1 quarter of leading an experimental eating disorder prevention group.

Current research experience:

Data analysis for the above eating disorder prevention group.

An independently conducted a 2x2 psychological experiment on a separate occasion (part of finishing my degree)

Future clinical experience:

At least one quarter: Teaching sex ed to elementary school kids (training already done, dates for classes are set)

At least one year: Volunteering for the Trevor Project crisis line (training not done yet)

At least 50 hours of hospital shadowing (I'm about to move MUCH closer to a teaching hospital so I can get started on this)

EMT certification and work: My plan is to do the course Fall 2027, then I can start EMT work part time as early as January 2028, then I plan to take the MCAT April 2028 and I would continue working as an EMT until it's time to go back to school.

Future research experience:

For 1 quarter I am set to work on a research project as part of my post bacc. That's all I've figured out so far and I assume I need more but I'm not sure.

Does bug spray purchased in the US work equally well on international bugs?

I'm about to go to Europe, I'm wondering if there's some variation in insect genetics that might impact how effective my US bug repellant will be.

Edit: To everyone making jokes at the question, I will remind you this sub is called "No Stupid Questions"

Take General Chemistry II (With Lab) this Summer at WCC to Save Money and Graduate Faster (~Please~)

Howdy! If you apply online by May 29 you can take Summer Classes at WCC for one third of the price of WWU, and the credits will transfer. I'm especially hoping to find at least one more person to take Chem&162 since we are one person short of the admissions requirement and if I don't take it this Summer, it will take me at least an additional year to finish school.

The class is in person, WCC also offers free chemistry tutoring, and the professor is a really cool guy.
