I bought a few Tiffany style lamps at an estate sale that need repair. One was working, but won’t turn on, now. One needs a cord replaced. and one has the screw at the top that won’t screw on.
Is there a place that does this kind of work? Suggestions! I really love these lamps. They are small.

I had a professional cleaning 4 days ago and since then, my gums have been sore in a few days places when I floss, but also in my gums facing my lips inside my mouth. it feels like uclers, like when I get stressed. The places where it hurts, there are white splotches.
Also, I use a soft brush and Perodentax toothpaste for sensitive gums. However, the dentist gave me a new brush that I started using, along with a toothpaste sample of Crest gum detox or something like that, which feels abrasive and dries my mouth.
I want to keep brushing and flossing twice a day, but it hurts and seems to be making it worse.
I’ve switched back to soft bristles and Perodentax.

I’m 50 years old and going back to get a Master’s Degree—concentrating in Public Health. It’s 100% online at NSULA (NSULA.edu). I earned my undergraduate degree in 2018 (started in 1996), and I feel overwhelmed with new technology and information (and AI). I don’t have the time or energy right now to learn a lot of cool tech stuff that computers can do. I start classes in 8 weeks and AI all up in my Office 365 is daunting enough.
I want a computer that is big and has big buttons, like a 17 in or whatever. I need a number pad on the right side of the keyboard. Will need to use headphones to listen to videos if I’m at a coffee shop. I have an external hard drive and a thumb drive. I prefer a long lasting battery. Good built in camera. I’m looking for refurbished and I don’t want to spend more than $500

I’ve dabbled in the SG world…started with Atlantis because it was the first to get its teeth in me. went back and watched the early movie and some of SG1. Then, lost interest. That was all last year.
I‘ve recently discovered SGU and am delightfully surprised.
To me, Battlestar Galactica is the end-all, be-all. Nothing has surpassed it for me. It’s a 10. But SGU is a solid 8, and that’s pretty nice.
