For people who had issues with the beta update:
I just saw this email on the latest update. Full email text below:
Dear Kobo Reader,
This is a service email with an update on the Kobo 6.0 Beta.
On September 26, we let you know our teams were working on an update to restore your content and stabilize the software experience: Kobo OS 6.0.2 is now available, and you'll see a prompt on your eReader to update. If you don't see it yet, it will arrive in the coming days.
Here's what's been fixed in 6.0.2:
Your reading stats and My Words list is back, with your saved words intact
Your sideloaded books have been recovered, but if you had annotations/highlights lost, we are working on a fix to bring them back in a future update
"Time remaining" calculations are accurate again
Books using on-device Adobe DRM now open properly
Devices with large libraries no longer freeze during updates
Some reported syncing issues for Libby and Kobo Plus books have been resolved
As a reminder, please don't revert to a previous software version. Reverting will permanently delete your data, and future updates won't be able to restore it. If you run into any issues after updating, our support team is here to help at help.kobo.com.
Keep sharing your feedback
