I’m Malaysian and I’m curious: What makes you want to learn Malay? I noticed many learners struggle because textbook Malay and real Malaysian Malay can feel very different. For example: Textbook: "Saya tidak mahu." Real conversation: "Tak nak lah." As a Malaysian, I’m interested to know what kind of Malay content learners want more: daily conversation? pronunciation? slang? Malaysian culture? Lepas orang komen, baru mention: "I'm actually planning a small Malay conversation club based on this idea."
