Today, I have a video interview for a remote position in my field at 2. Only 1 shot of whiskey so far. Trying to keep the drinking under control until after the interview. Just 3 more hours...
Chairs friends, gonna take one more shot and keep pumping myself up!

UPDATE #2: I rocked it. No slurring, connected with the interviewer, answered questions like a champion. CA be damned, I'm fucking getting this job.
I’ve got my first job interview in my new field in 45 minutes. The plan was to just drink enough to be confident but now I’m 11 shots in and…well…I feel pretty good! Let’s hope I can pull this off! Chairs! Wish me luck!
UPDATE: I was in the Teams lobby waiting to be let in to the meeting 10 minutes before the interview time. They never let me in and they sent me an email saying they were withdrawing me from further consideration because they could not get ahold of me!! I sent an email to the recruiter explaining what happened but haven’t heard back yet. sigh Time to buy more booze and go play disc golf. Chairs. FML.
ADDITIONAL UPDATE: The road to the liquor store was closed so I guess I’m just drinking gas station booze. Probably for the best.
