Anyone familiar with Ontario corrections? My friend got this email but he thought he did well. It seems some ppl got an email that says you’re testing results is insufficient and that you have to wait a year. Is it good if he doesn’t have to wait a year and can apply at any time

As a result, we must inform you that your application has been closed. There is no wait period before you are eligible to re-apply for the position. Your testing results will remain in our files for up to 12 months and will be applied to any additional application that you submit within this timeframe. You are encouraged to re-apply if you remain interested in the position
