TV Shows

It got me thinking.

There are so many shows on Netflix. When The Lincoln Lawyer first came out, I started watching it and was really excited. But then I had to wait for the next season.

When Seasons 2, 3, and 4 were released, I kept procrastinating about whether I should watch them. Then, last month, I thought I might as well give it a go. I ended up binge-watching the entire series and finished it within two weeks.

During that time, I added several other shows to my watchlist to watch after The Lincoln Lawyer, because I can't seem to watch more than one show at a time.

But once I finished The Lincoln Lawyer, it felt like everything dropped off. I had no interest in watching any of the shows I'd saved.

Then I came across The Rookie, and the same thing happened again. I started binge-watching it and finished the whole thing in about a month. While watching it, I saved another load of shows that seemed interesting.

Then came the inevitable crash. Suddenly, all those saved shows seemed boring. Now I'm just searching for another series that grabs me the way The Rookie or The Lincoln Lawyer did.

I also don't like rewatching shows straight away. I usually need about a year before I can enjoy them again. Watching them immediately after finishing them feels tiring.
