>Two months ago I was advised that POET was working on multiple programs targeting a new audience that we should become aware of in the coming weeks.  Although not advised directly the understanding was that there is a need to get the share price up. Previously I had been advised and shared on this form to the dismay of many here that they were not concerned about the share price, which I took to mean something significant was in the works that could change the outlook of POET’s future for the better. Messaging from the OFC was extremely positive and supported the notion that POET had the answer for industry and was on the path to provide extremely efficient low cost high volume light sources garnering the  attention of industry leaders. Companies were lining up for co-development because the Optical Interposer had the ability to quickly integrate new devices. Indeed Suresh has stated that integration of devices that others were struggling with were integrated with ease using the POET platform.

>The mysterious funding at $7.25 in part 1 and then doubled at the same price in part 2 months later above market. No immediate plans for where that money was spent led many to conclude it was earmarked for Marvell light source production.  In addition the huge volumes that have taken place with POET stock and no apparent increase in institutional ownership and no filing to indicate ownership. A very unusual set of circumstances hiding the buyer. Why? Who was the buyer and why was there no immediate plans to spend that money?

>Yes I believe Tom was triggered but recognize how careful Tom has been in avoiding any disclosure of confidential info.

>Consider the following: If Marvell had intentions to purchase POET they would not want the share price to skyrocket. Marvel has made zero comment regarding any technical issues associated with POET indeed the demonstration of Blazar which is on track to remove isolators would definitely be seen as a huge driver for adoption which would surpass anything that CAI GC design could hope to achieve. Marvell is making moves to be in high volume production in 2029. I do not believe for a minute that they are going to throw away the chance to be in POET’s ecosystem but I am of the opinion that Marvel wants the POET golden goose all to themselves.

>If Marvell had cancelled their PO with POET over technical issues they would have said so. I think it is very conceivable that they are in fact planning on buying POET and using the excuse that POET violated confidentiality as the reason they cancelled which opens the door for them to be able to buy POET without being seen as purposely manipulating the share price.  They are buying POET because they need their light sources especially now that BLAZAR is being seen as the silver bullet.

>This reason would likely hold water with the FCC…Sugesting that they need POET but they can’t trust POET so we are going to buy POET. It is very likely in my opinion that they own a significant number of shares and that if this plays out POET will need to be on their A game and require the support of the interested parties and co-developers that understand POET’s future. IMO
