R21 Ultra Stuck in Update Mode
Hi all, my one day old R21 Ultra looks like it is bricked.
I was playing iRacing and the wheel went black and wheel base stopped working.
In the Moza pit house, it showed the R21 as in update mode. Weirdly the current version is listed as 105.181.153.52
I tried to refresh the firmware through the firmware manager but it fails every time, I’ve tried a bunch of different versions.
I then tried the offline option inside of pit house but same thing.
I then tried the offline firmware update tool, and yes I closed pit house and disconnected the other Moza hardware but the wheelbase. The tool will not update the hardware and the buttons are red. It says hardware doesn’t match. I also tried it with the wheelbase powered plugged into the main socket versus an extension lead.
I have submitted a support ticket at this point but what a disaster, literally didn’t have it running more than a couple of hours.
Does anyone have any ideas on what else I could try? The wheel was working fine until it wasn’t!
