Am I the only one who thinks Castlevania is more anti-corrupt than anti-Christian?

I’m talking about the Netflix shows here. Also, I’m not trying to convince anyone of anything. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Just wanna share my thoughts.

I’ve seen ppl rant that the shows are very anti-Christian and I honestly understand. I see how the show almost seems to depict Christianity as a corrupt cult but then I remember that this could critique pastors who exploit Christianity and people who are believers of Christianity to do corrupt things while justifying it as ‘God’s will or plan’, which is honestly a thing out there unfortunately.

I’ve also seen people say that they made the Belmonts anti-Christian despite them having their powers being granted to them by God in the games. I think the Belmonts are still Christians. Just not really in the face like the games show and I’m gonna use Richter Belmont as a big example since I know him more than others. In his different universes, he obviously has a lot of Christian symbolism - the cross on the whip in Smash Bros, the powers and the use of the Bible and holy water in the games, the cross the back of his coat in Dracula x Chronicles as well as the way he holds his dagger up in the poster of the game, and, if anybody missed it, his powers shaped as a cross when he regained them in Nocturne.

I think he’s still Christian but rather critical of corruption instead because of this, besides the cross on the Belmont insignia. I think that shape references the Grand Cross and/or the Holy Cross from the games (more likely the grand cross). I also remember Annette saying “We’ve all descended from gods” hinting at their powers, which could further hint at him getting his powers from God bc obviously he doesn’t worship Annette’s Gods and Goddesses

Ik this isn’t a fully fledged post but I honestly just wanted to share my thoughts about it. What do you think?

Voting registration

Hey Yall. So I just turned 18 and I want to try vote for the first time, at least for the local elections but I feel kinda off about going to voting stations to vote physically cause I kinda have social anxiety and can’t stay in one place I’m unfamiliar with for too long. I think I wanna leave that to my older years. Anyways, is it possible to vote online? If so I wanna know where I have to go. I tried googling before but it gives me so many results and I just get so confused

I’m talking about the advert with the Phil Collins ‘Take Me Home’ cover. I usually hate long adverts but this one has me hooked every time😭 the way they animated the desperate products wanting to be chosen and taken home. My fav part is the tin fish all swimming around on each other’s cans in unison. It’s trippy but fun. I just hope nobody ruins my day by saying AI was used for it🌚
