Just got my pediatric crown replaced, second tooth in the back on the top right. And even asked my dentist if my retainer would fit over the new crown they gave me. I was told that if it doesn’t fit over the back teeth then i can just cut it myself. I had Invisalign over five years ago and have been wearing the retainer for about four years now at night. they told me since it’s the back teeth, it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. have other people done this before? should i just cut it??
so i’m already on about day 8 of post op, and it seems like the swelling around my molars is pretty inflamed still. how much longer will i be like this?? im so sick of being so aware of my mouth. it’s all i can think about, it’s all i can talk about. it’s just so nasty!! does anyone have an advice to help with inflammation?? also is this even normal? i know it’s disgusting 😣
