“Don’t judge an entire organization off of one persons actions.”

I’ll never forget the moment that was said to me. Oddly enough I got into the car business and have been in it for around 17 years now.

Sale consultants get a bad rap. I know they do. Dealerships get a bad rap. I know they do.

I wanted to prove a point, that you can be hardworking, full of integrity, and resilient. I was told countless times that I wouldn’t make it because I was too nice…i made it a point to not change. All those people fell out of the business as I climbed through the ranks.

I treated people with respect, I strived to make sure my customers had a pleasant purchase experience, I made sure I was transparent throughout the entire process.

I know dealerships out there play some crazy games. I know some sales consultants have some pretty unusual sales tactics full of BS.

Not me, thats not who I am and not what I aim to be. I am a human being. I am chasing dreams, I give back to my community, I drop everything to help the people around me.

It truly pisses me off when I hear games that were tried against my customers. I hear stories till this day. I hope those managers and sales consultants stay stuck and eventually fail out of the business.

This game is rough, managers can chew you out, customers dis-respect you left and right. It’s hard to maintain a balance of life.

I know there are dealerships and employees of them that are out there that can relate and share my belief or philosophy of being in this business. We are all not liars, we are all not sleazy, we are doing the best we can in this.

We may be rare, we may be looked down upon, but I preach that doing the right thing…will always be the better route and karma will always come back around.

Sorry for my rant, just wanted to get that out.
