I was discussing following quote from the Kitab-i-Aqdas (paragraph 53) with a friend:

„Should differences arise amongst you over any matter, refer it to God while the Sun still shineth above the horizon of this Heaven and, when it hath set, refer ye to whatsoever hath been sent down by Him.“

What is meant by „refer it to God while the Sun still shineth above the horizon of this Heaven“? I always thought that this verse speaks about the time when Bahá’u’lláh was still among the people in this earthly realm. But what then does „referring it to God“ mean? What do you think?
