I’m working on launching my salon and one thing I want to set up early is an online booking system.

The goal is pretty simple: customers should be able to view services, choose available times, and book appointments without a complicated process.

Since I’m running a small business, I don’t have the budget to hire a developer for every little update. I’m looking for something I can manage myself without spending all my time dealing with technical issues.

For those who run salons, shops, or other service businesses, what hosting platform has worked well for you?

Did you prioritize price, support, ease of use, speed, or something else?

I'm about to launch my first WordPress site and I feel like I'm stuck at the same decision everyone seems to debate.

hey yall, i am making this post because i am just about ready to throw my phone at the wall. i am a twenty six year old woman living in a pretty major city, and i have spent the last few months trying to find a real, intentional connection. instead, my experience on the mainstream apps has been completely exhausting. it feels like every time i open hinge or tinder, i am either dealing with people who just want something casual or i am getting microaggressed by dudes who clearly view me as some kind of stereotype instead of a whole person. i am really trying to find someone who shares my cultural values and actually wants to build something serious, but the endless swiping is draining my soul.

not sure if anyone else feels this way but the whole morning journal routine never really clicked for me, like i'd try and it just felt forced. what actually feels natural is more like saving things? a restaurant i loved, a song i had on repeat, a movie that hit different, a random thought i had at 2am. i guess i journal more like i'm building a little archive of my life rather than documenting my feelings every single day and most apps I've tried are built around the daily entry format which just doesn't work for how my brain operates. i have been looking for something that lets me organize what i'm into, not just by date, and doesn't make me feel behind if i skip a few days. what app actually fits that kind of vibe?
