I need 125mm wheels for the setup in the picture. It's supposed to be a pure push setup. No pumping on this one.
Abec11 sueprfly 111mm are too small. I really need a bare minimum of 120mm but preferably 125mm.
I've been told the idea of inline/scooter wheels for LDP is something that comes up every now and again. And I understand that this idea is considered to be kooky, disproven, suboptimal, etc.
But I have explored all kinds of wheels. E-boards, industrial wheels etc and they have all kinds of problems associated with them. But scooter and inline wheels should fit natively. And so I am going to ask anyway:
Are there inline-skate wheels or scooter wheels out there that work alright for LDP? Perhaps a higher budget freestyle scooter wheel with an aluminium hub, or an in-line skate wheel intended for long distance skating? Is there anyone here who has had decent success with this?
Please let me know. Thanks!
EDIT: I feel like I'm defending my thesis lmao
I am a native Dutch speaker. I do volunteer work where I help immigrants learn the language. I'd like to create a helpful resource/learning material for the students to hopefully make it more fun and attractive to learn, because everything is easier to learn when you are having fun with it.
Because there are many non-native Dutch speakers in this community, I am interested in your experience, and I want to ask you to post your favourite words. Words that are funny, words that are helpful, words that you use frequently. I need inspiration to help me fill roughly one A4 sheet of paper, so feel free to post anything that inspires you.
My plan is to create a table with three colums. In the three columns will be: 1) the word in Dutch, 2) the literal translation into English, 3) an explanation or breakdown of the meaning of the word.
Example of the format:
| Dutch word | English word | Explanation/breakdown |
|---|---|---|
| Samenleving | Society | "Samen" means "together", "Leven" (verb) means "To live". Samen + Leving = "Togetherliving". |
| Vierkant | Square | "Vier" means "Four". "Kant" means "Side". Vier + Kant = "Fourside". |
| Lekker | Tasty | Lekker means Tasty, but also more generally: Lekker can be used for anything that just feels good. |
| Pannenkoek | Pancake | Pannenkoek means Pancake, but also can be used as a mild insult! It's not overly rude, so perfect to use if you get cut off in traffic. |
