Hyunjin and Felix in Paris

Hyunjin and Felix’s aura and their connection to Paris are so healing. I was reminded of the time Felix dreamed that he and Hyunjin were hugging in Paris haha.

I love these soulmate moments in their friendship 🩵

Chan and Sana are so cute together

Chan went on the Fridge Interview show with Sana from TWICE as the host. This episode

is going to be so warm - the two of them are really adorable together 🥺

Sana shared that when other trainees would leave after 10 PM, she stayed behind in the practice room to keep working. And every time, Chan would walk her back to the dorm because he didn't want her to go alone - even though the walk only took about five minutes.

They also talked about a story fans already know. Back when they were trainees, Chan would save his meal tickets and give them to the TWICE members because they weren't allowed to eat pork but really wanted to. In the end, he got in trouble for it, but he took all the blame himself. That's so sweet.

And this conversation really touched me:

Chan: Yeah i saw Sana cry a lot.

Sana: I think Chan saw that more than anyone...

Chan: That's right. Even though i'm younger than you, i always tried to listen to your worries.

Sana: He listened to me anytime, even in the middle of the night. He's truly one of a kind.

Are there any idols who openly support specific football clubs?

I’d love to know! I’ve heard that Jeongin supports Manchester United and Hyunjin support Real Madrid but i don’t know anything else... Please share any information you might have 🙏🏻

Wow, Stray Kids are so loved in Europe... Their last comeback was 7 months ago with a 4-track mixtape album but they're pulling such amazing numbers!

And... last year Stray Kids also ranked #1 in streams in Europe.

They're also generating incredible numbers on Spotify in Europe and have staged the biggest stadium concerts there for asian artists. Attracting nearly 60k people across Europe for both days of the concert is simply fantastic... I'm so proud of them!

I analyzed Stray Kids' discography and here's what I found 🎸 PART 2

Phew.. This is part 2 of the rabbit hole of genre madness that is Stray Kids 🤓☝️

Disclaimer: I'm not a musician, not a producer, not a perfect genre expert. I'm just a fan who judges genres and music from my non-professional perspective. If you disagree with how I placed some genres, please say it nicely ❤️* If there are mistakes here, please don't be too harsh^^ I'm not a native english speaker*.

Important: For some songs, i got help with genre placement from the YouTube channel kpop stuffs and the Stray Kids Fandom site! And I didn't use AI to figure out the genres of the tracks, because that's basically impossible to do anyway.

Big thanks to everyone who showed love for this post on Reddit, Twitter, and other social media! I hope you enjoy part 2.

(The full list is below)

In Stray Kids' discography, out of 207 original tracks, there are 151 unique subgenres.

By macrogenres (rock, EDM, Hip Hop, etc.) — 14

Discography base (by macrogenres):

Mini-facts:

• Stray Kids have a track called Wolfgang, which ibput in the Horrorcore genre. if you listen closely, the instrumental has an organ melody, which is often used in this genre, and the low rap, howling and wolf barking sounds only add to that feeling.

• In JJAM and GIANT, you can find a genre called Brostep a more aggressive version of dubstep with sharp "twisting" sounds.

• Malataste a unique subgenre that Stray Kids themselves came up with. I added it as a tribute in God's Menu, but many people use it to describe the group's entire music overall. "Spicy" music that affects all your senses. Perfect for an ADHD brain.

• Stray Kids were the ones who started the phonk wave in kpop with LALALALA... And the rage wave, too. Both of these subgenres and their smaller variations have been booming in kpop for the last two years.

• Please listen to Entrance... In this track, they pulled Tribal Psybient from the depths and decided it was a great start to the trilogy. This genre is psychedelic ambient with ethnic elements.

• Stray Kids in general really love house, but in my heart, the subgenre is Big Room House. In my opinion, it's that "festival" sound that makes you want to join a mosh pit.

Mini-facts are done! Thanks everyone.

I analyzed Stray Kids' discography and here's what I found

Disclaimer: I'm not a musician or a producer. I'm just analyzing content based on my own amateur knowledge and internet sources.

Recently, I fell down a rabbit hole and cataloged every original Stray Kids release, excluding different versions, remixes, and SKZ-Replays that weren't officially released

Over 206 songs, Stray Kids used 100 different genre labels.

Here are a few conclusions:

All kinds of EDM and electronic music - 91 songs, 44% of their discography.

  1. All kinds of Hip Hop - 74 songs, 36%

  2. All kinds of ballads - 37 songs, 18%

  3. All kinds of R&B, Soul - 32 songs, 15%

  4. Acoustic, Lo-fi, Bossa Nova, etc. - 19 songs, 9%

  5. Around 90 soft or mid-tempo tracks, which is 43% of their whole discography.

  6. Stray Kids have over 70 songs in different types of rock, punk and metal, which is almost as much as EDM and Hip Hop in their discography.

  7. Some niche genres from their discography: Darkpsytrance (Side Effects), Riddim Dubstep (Freeze), UK Drill (3RACHA), Drift Phonk (LALALALA), ASMR (Super Bowl), Country Pop (Youtiful), Latin Trap (Maknae On Top), Blues (Deep End), Garage (Lose My Breath), Industrial (Venom), etc.

  8. SKZ's Japanese releases are noticeably heavier than their korean ones almost all of them use rock, metal, and heavy electronic music.

  9. The core sound is built on genres like Hip Hop, EDM, Trap, Rock, Punk, Drum and Bass, and R&B.

  10. Stray Kids really love mixing incompatible genres, which creates their unique sound that's hard to find anywhere else not just in kpop but outside of it too.

  11. Every second Stray Kids song contains new genres.

  12. Many genres have never been used in songs by other k-pop artists or Stray Kids were the first to use them in the industry.

  13. Stray Kids often use strange and very specialized musical instruments, such as the steel tongue drum.

It has a meditative quality, and the fact that 3RACHA made it the main track of Do It, a track with a "just relax and do it" message, is very thoughtful. 3RACHA's genius lies in a multitude of small details - and this fact is even one of the most obvious.

  1. Stray Kids have been actively using Drum and Bass since the very beginning, back in 2018.

Stray Kids break Rock in Rio pre-sale record & sell out 116k in Mexico

Rock in Rio 2026 broke the record for the fastest ticket pre-sale in the festival's history. Confirmed by the festival itself.

Stray Kids are the first K-pop artists in history not only to perform at Rock in Rio, but also to headline the festival.

At the beginning of the year, during the general sale, all tickets for the Rock in Rio day featuring Stray Kids sold out at a record-breaking speed - this marked the first time since 2013 that festival tickets sold out in less than an hour after sales began. The only previous instance of such high demand was for Beyoncé's performance.

Stray Kids completely sold out their StrayCity shows in Mexico - totaling approximately 116,000 tickets across two days.

Due to overwhelming demand, an additional date was added.

By selling over 116,000 tickets in Mexico, Stray Kids broke their own dominATE tour records for fastest sellout and highest ticket sales - achieving this in less than a week after the first date was announced.

Due to overwhelming demand, an additional date was also added in Argentina - tickets will go on sale on June 1. A total of 120,000 tickets are expected to be sold for Argentina!

Additionally all 60,000 tickets for the Straycity concert in Argentina have been sold out This is Stray Kids' first show with over 60,000 attendees, surpassing their concerts at Stade de France, which had 58,600 across both days.

This also becomes the largest concert ever by a 4th-generation K-pop act - previously this record was held twenty-four times by Stray Kids themselves!

They become the second K-pop act to sell out 60,000 tickets for a show outside Asia.
