40 years old, pregnant with second baby. First tested positive on Monday. Is this a good progression?

Dr has asked me to redo HCG in 48 hours
I’m 40 years old and currently 4wk2d pregnant with my second child. I had a positive urine test on Monday (test on Saturday was negative) and then had my blood taken yesterday.
I got my tests back today and I have an HCG of 191 and my Dr has asked me to redo them in 48 hours to make they’re doubling. I’m feeling nervous that this pregnancy won’t stick as I had a chemical a few months ago. Can anyone share their positive stories with me?

12 dpo - vvfl?
My period was due yesterday although timing could be slightly off as my period is still irregular postpartum. Feeling very nauseous today, did a clear blue digital and it said not pregnant but then took a FRER and got this very faint line or is it an indent?
