Joining bsc cs this year from a not so great college

My qualifications, 12th : 60%(pcm)

After i miserably failed my engineering entrance exams , I'm left with only one option which is bsc cs as I'm very passionate about coding and I have prior experience. Will I suffer in the job market after my degree (thinking of doing) or can I get similar packages with btech folks , my college isnt that great cause i checked the placement records and all bsc cs grads have ended up in marketing roles

I planned to get deep into cyber sec but that too is getting oversaturated

Help a little brother out 🙏🏾

This is the second time I'm asking cuz I'm kinda scared . Like I'm ready to study consistently cuz I'm really determined not one time motivation. And if it's worth it please again, suggest yt channels and playlists, again. Thankyou

Subjects

So after you get into an IISER , I saw on YouTube that you select your major after 1st year .Does selecting majors rely on iat marks ? Or on a different factor
