Hi everyone! I'm an incoming masters computational neuroscience student. For the dorms, they ask what lease period I would like. Is it customary to pick 12 months, 6 months, or something else? I'll plan on being here for at least 1.5 years, but may leave for my master's thesis. Also, do people know if you can transfer rooms in the middle of your lease?

Currently, I'm a full-time (paid) RA in a neuro theory lab. I am basically treated like a PhD student. In my last 3 months before a masters or a different RA, they're just letting me work on a project of my choosing as well as a side project with another professor analyzing data. I really love my work and am very happy to just work 6-7 days a week because it's stuff that I've wanted to do for a while. Is there any problem with this? Would there be in a PhD? My grad student advisor also does the same.
Additional context is that I have already been in industry and came back to do quantitative academic research. I got into PhDs already but declined them to get better offers once my paper comes out this year.
Harden talked about having better spacing, and you saw that in the PnR. Instead of just a simple PnR with Allen, when they would collectively gather another defender, Harden decided to dish it off to Spida who had a wide open lane to the hole.
Strus, we've seen him be so impactful this last game with his hustle.
I know people really want to go drastically from AMAZING <> BLOW IT UP, but have you all considered that we've barely had these lineups? The defenses knows how to react to us having Harden now, and this is where the adjustments over the season would let us counter all of that.
I think we're seeing part of it now, in the growth in the playoffs. That should be reflected next year as well.
