are we really missing out on a lot compared to other cllgs or is it just exaggerated?

im a 2nd sem student here and honestly i get major fomo looking at the social handles of other cllgs like manipal, bmsce, thapar, the nits and iits and heck even vit (which is supposedly a jail).

just take manipal for ex, they have a huge campus with a large student body, tons of amazing clubs and events that happen frequently, state of the art facilities for all extra curriculars and sports and overall just the vibe in general shows you how contrasting it is in comparison to rvce's dull boring and monotonous life,

sure we have much better placements and whatnot but you get to that only after 4 yrs.

what do yall think abt this? exaggerated or fair?

how exactly does the sgpa calculation work for lab subjects with 150 cie marks? plzz help

so my final sap marks are showing that cie theory is 71 and total cie is 116
how many marks would i need in SEE for an A+(9) or a A(8) ?

cie of other subjects are out of 100 and the SEE is also 100 and then both are added and reduced to 100, so how exactly does a lab subject with 150 cie and 100 SEE work?

is pbl SEE a part of this?

is it just me or does cllg feel so lifeless and monotonic?

im a 2nd sem student here and idk why but lifes boring and uneventful

im not an introvert or anything by any means, ive got tons of acquaintances all over but thats what they are....acquaintances. college was supposed to be this really exciting and fun place but doesnt seem like it.

after the first 2 or 3 weeks of induction, it almost feels like its impossible to make any proper friends, i mean apart from your own classmates and a few plc/esc classes where else do u sahre any kind of common space? there is 0 sports culture and infra here so no bonding over that....clubs are alright but then again its only a vey few clubs and even they have their sessions every 2 weeks once or smthing so there goes that too.

and finally i feel like im not alone on this, over the past months ive seen friend groups drift apart and change so much all around me, even the so called popular kids with a huge grp at the start of sem 1 who i thought would be inseparable and all eventually broke up. if youd look at them now, you wouldnt really call them popular or anything....

honestly el work was the only time i had any sort of fun or actual good interaction iykwim....like actually working with my friends, and even that would be gone next sem coz we'd be split up into cluster wise els

what do yall think?
