24/ year old moving to Nashville. Area recommendations.
I recently got a new job in Nashville and will be moving down there, but I don’t know anyone in the city and don’t know much about the different neighborhoods.
My company went through a merger and my role is being relocated to Nashville. I’m 24, single, super social, and love being active. I’m not really into the heavy party scene I’ll go out occasionally and enjoy meeting people, but my lifestyle does not revolve around nightlife. I’m more into health, fitness, being outdoors, and finding a good community.
I’m hoping to live somewhere that makes it easier to meet people, has some walkability, and feels like a nice/safe area. I know Nashville isn’t known for being super walkable, so I’m trying to figure out which neighborhoods would be a good fit for someone in my stage of life.
I’ll also be commuting to Franklin for work, so I’d love somewhere that won’t make the commute miserable. Though I’m only one day a week in person so I’m fine with a far drive for a better social life location.
Any neighborhood recommendations? Are there areas you’d suggest looking into or avoiding? Thanks everyone!
