Married Couples: Joint Finances or Separate? I’d Love to Hear Your Experience!
Hi,
My husband and I are both working parents with two teenagers, and we’ve always shared everything financially—joint checking, savings, bills, and property. It just feels natural to us because that’s how I saw my parents manage a happy, healthy marriage.
Lately, I’ve noticed more couples keeping separate finances, so now I’m curious. Is fully sharing finances still common, or are separate accounts becoming the norm?
No judgment at all—I know every family is different.
I’d love to hear what works for your family and why.
Please keep it kind and respectful! 😊
