Would this be a good addition to a bridesmaid gift?

I'm trying to make my bridesmaid gifts feel a little more useful instead of just filling them with cute things that might never get used.
I came across this gift card holder idea and thought it could be a nice addition to the other gifts I'm putting together. I'd fill it with gift cards to a few places they actually like — coffee, lunch, maybe something sweet — and add a ribbon and a small thank-you tag.
The photo is the seller's sample image, just to show the idea.
It seems practical to me, but I'm curious what other brides/bridesmaids think. Would you like getting something like this as part of a bridesmaid gift?

Got into an argument with my mom over such a small wedding detail and now I'm just frustrated

My mom and I got into an argument over something that honestly feels so small — wedding hangers.
I really like the idea of having personalized matching hangers for the bridal party, especially for the getting-ready photos. My mom thinks they're completely unnecessary and keeps saying no one is going to care about the hangers anyway.
I know it's such a tiny detail, which is probably why I'm even more frustrated that it turned into an argument.
Now she's got me second-guessing myself a little. For anyone who's actually used personalized wedding hangers, did you feel like they were worth it? Did they look good in photos, and did you end up keeping them afterward?
Would love to hear from people who've actually had them at their wedding.

What's the best cheap way to make a small room look bigger?

I just moved into a tiny studio apartment, and the space feels so cramped and dark most days. I don't have the budget for fancy furniture, custom storage or a full renovation, so l'm looking for cheap, easy ways to make the room feel more open and bigger than it actually is.
I've already tried moving my bed against the wall and clearing out some clutter, but it still feels small. I'm curious about little tricks like paint colors, lighting hacks, mirror placement or affordable storage ideas that don't cost a fortune.
What's your go-to budget trick to make a small room look more spacious? I'd love to hear tips that actually worked for your own place, not just generic decor advice.
