Lowkey wish he would use his normal voice in songs more

Seems like hes using the pitched up voice more and more when my favorite songs by him are the ones with less vocal effects , it sounds dope on its own (music and me 10/10 song). The pitched up vocals makes the album feel like a unnecessary nightcore edit js hinders the replay value for me tbh

Sentenced - Crumbling Down (Give Up Hope)

Love this sound from them, wish Sentenced released more like this back then they had such a short D/D era. They have godly vocals for it

Why were 1980s Italian horror soundtracks such bangers

Not including the movies themselves being masterpieces from the shitload of talented directors, the composers like Claudio Simonetti (Goblin) and Fabio Frizzi were on fire. Many others like Stelvio Cipirani, Riz Ortolani, Walter Rizatti. The combination of synths and prog-rock is otherworldly

Its between these two for me, mid 90s samael was actually insane and always been underrated as hell for some reason. I think Ceremony of Opposite is overall more consistent with the nasty riffs that appeared in Blood Ritual and polished song structures
