This is working up slowly. I’m finishing a disappointing custom PBN at the same time.

I am loving this Canvas by Numbers Klimt PBN. It is going to take forever to finish and I think it will be worth it. I was getting frustrated with the brushes I was using and finally spent some money on better brushes. I should have done it sooner. Better quality brushes make a big difference, especially when dealing with tiny spaces.

This PBN is from Canvas by Numbers and is a copy of a painting by the artist Klimt. It may take me a year to finish, so many tiny specks. However, I’m really pleased with the quality of the canvas and paints. I invested in some very good brushes and that is making a big difference for me as well.

I just finished a custom PBN, a copy of a family photo. It was a mess! The colors weren’t realistic by any stretch of the imagination, everyone was varying shades of orange. The paints were terrible as well. It was a gift and I felt I had to finish it.

The weather for the past 2 days has been beautiful. High of about 55, blue skies and little wind. Icelanders are out in shorts and short sleeved shirts. We have explored Reykjavik and been on a puffin tour, have spent a lot of money on food. The food has been very good but pricey. Tomorrow rain begins in the afternoon and we will be leaving for Vik at 8 am. We had an excellent dinner at Himalayan Spice this evening.
